I'm looking to confirm the lineage between these guys in the Girty line (of Simon Girty fame).

I can't find records in Ontario of Prideax (son of Simon Girty & Catherine Malotte) being born, although I believe there are 'accounts'. Then there was a Thomas who was a son of Prideaux's (spouse/mother unknown).

Ideally, I'm looking for corroboration of the son Thomas' relationship to Prideaux (and so Simon). Furthermore, to connect Thomas as the father to Peter-b.1854 (later married to Annie Cook) from Ontario Canada.

All men apparently resided in Ontario Canada, but I am having touble finding documentation here, so I thought maybe there was something in the states... I can live in hope! ;-)

Anyway, if these connections can be confirmed, then I will have established my relationship to Simon Girty as his great(x5)grand-daughter.
