I had been researching my great uncle, Calcedonio Busardo, who owned his own home at 543 Henry
Street in Brooklyn, New York around 1900-1930's(?). In researching this address I came across the name John GIuca and also the name Guglielmo GUica who lived at 543 Henry Street during those years. (2 different spellings-same man?). In Feb. 1911 Guglielmo Guica had been arrested and sentenced to one year in the penitentiary on a charge not mentioned in the police record. In Jan. 1915 he was again sentenced to two months in the penitentiary for possession of a dangerous weapon. In either April, May, or June of 1931 he was again arrested and charged with a felony (because of his 2 prior arrests) by Det. Moroney of the Main Office Division who found a .38 calibre revolver in his bedroom at 543 Henry Street (brooklyn Heights section of Brooklyn?). I had been trying to find out if there was any connection between him and my uncle Calcedonio who owned the home or the other Busardos who had lived in the Red Hook section of Brooklyn. That is all I know about the surname.
