Does anyone have info about Givens of VA TN or TX. My grandfather, James Presley Givens, was born in Texas (1877). I believe his father, Andrew (or Anderson) Zachariah Givens was born in TN (1841) and moved to TX. Andrew's father, Rev. John Givens was born in TN (1806)and his father, Rev John Ray Givens, was born in VA (1763 or 66). I have never found anything back any farther than my great grandfather, Andrew, until I read a message in here and am very excited to hear from anyone who might have ancestors in these states.
