John Paul Giza of Krakow, Poland and Chicago, Illinois

I am looking for information on the parents of John (Jan) Paul Giza. He was born on Sept. 21, 1881 in Krakow, Poland. He immigrated to Chicago, Illinois. John was the son of Franciszek Giza. This is the only information I have on his parents. John also had two sisters that I know of they were named Anna and Franciszka. I would love if anyone has any connection to the family or any information on his parents or siblings.

I'm happy to hear that the Gieza name is found in the UK!

About a relation...it all depends on where your Gieza family came from in Poland.

The Gieza family that I am researching comes from a small village that is today located in Ukraine. The village is Czeremosznia (Cheremoshnia in transliterated Ukrainian).

Does this sound familiar?

Of course, I have found the Gieza name from different areas of Poland during my research.

I am looking for information about the Giza family.. I know that Albert Giza, born Nov. 1883. His father was Gregory Giza, his mother Victoria Ziebron. I know that Albert came to America in 1910.

Hi there! My grandfather was Bronislaw Gieza, born 5 Oct 1913. Married 5 Sept 1938 to Mary Agnes Pacansky. His brother was Edward, born 4 Nov 1916 and died 21 June 1990. His sister is Jean Mogz married to Joseph who passed away recently. Jean lives in Lackawanna, NY. Their parents were John and Anna Gieza from Amsterdam, NY. They moved to Erie, PA for awhile then back to New York, I think. If you have any information on John and Anna Gieza, would you pass it along. I am at a loss!!!
