Has anyone run across the name of METTA GLADE in their searches? She came from either Iowa or Illinois and born about 1829? She married HENRY SMITH in Hardin County, Iowa. They had a daughter named DORETTA SMITH who was born in Hardin County, Iowa and married FRANK NEHLS. Any clues would be greatly appreciated.
