My ancestor was Harriet Glasco/Glasgow/Glascow. She migrated from South Carolina, born in 1825, to Texas, primarily Luling area. Would like to get more information on her parents, uncles, aunts, sisters, etc.

I WAS 11 OR 12 WHEN MY UNCLE EDWIN MUDIE INVITED OUR RELATIVES FROM SCOTLAND TO DEARBORN, MICHIGAN, USA. I AM NOW 60. THEY WERE MY PARENTS AGE WHO ARE NOW DECEASED AND THERE WERE YOUNGER MUDIES. I GOT FASCINATED ABOUT MY RELATIVES IN SCOTLAND. I BELIEVE THEY WERE FROM GLASCOW OR EDINBOROUGH (SP?). THEY HAD A 5" X 9" BLUE BOOK WHICH HAD A LIST OF THE MUDIES IN IT. THEY STATED WE DID NOT HAVE A CLAN. MY FATHER'S NAME WAS JERRY MUDIE; MY OTHER UNCLE WAS KENNETH MUDIE. MY GREAT GRANDFATHER WAS FROM DUNDEE, SCOTLAND AND CAME TO THE USA APRIL 1906 TO NYC. I WANT TO SEE IF I HAVE ANY LIVING RELATIVES IN SCOTLAND. CAN ANYONE HELP ME? ANY GUIDANCE IS APPRECIATED. THANK YOU.

Annie Glascow, b. abt. 1848

Annie Glascow, b. abt. 1848 in TN. is listed in the 1900 Galveston, Texas census.

I've been researching the 1900 Galveston Hurricane and this census was taken about three months before the Hurricane hit. Hopefully this information will be of help to others who are also researching the victims and survivors of this Hurricane.
I am not related to this family, just passing on this information. The link for the site is listed below.
Joyce

http://ftp.us-census.org/pub/usgenweb/census/tx/galveston/19...
