Doctor Cooper was Chief of Urology and founder and Director of the Urology Residency Training Program at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Los Angeles. I first met him in Los Angeles following graduation from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He accepted me in the program in 1977 and I completed training in 1981. Since that time I have worked in private urology practice for ten years followed by a return to the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan in San Diego. I subsequently joined the Southern California Permanente Medical Group and, like my mentor Doctor Cooper, became Chief of Urology at the Kaiser Medical Center in San Diego. Doctor Cooper developed personal medical problems and began his retirement around 1980. All the graduates of "his" residency returned to a dinner and farewell salute around 1985 in Los Angeles. "Coop" was always a favorite of mine and I was saddened to hear of his death. I would be happy to share the little information I have about his health. My spelling is Elliott... Please take a look at the "Elliotts" on my web site. Paul Elliott and Emily Jefferys had children, Edward and Robert that I know of. I have pictures, The children of Edward and Robert are unknown to me by name, but I do have one of them listed..

Paul Elliott is the brother of my grandmother, Abarilla Ruth Elliott. My mother may have been able to help, but Jennie, daughter of Abarilla died on April 2, 2003 at the age of 93. I have more pictures which I will gladly share with you. If you are related to Paul Elliott, then you are related to Alfred Elliott and a lot of Williams..

My 2 brothers & I are interested in any information about the daeth of our father, John Fenimore Cooper from Glendale, CA on Dec. 27, 1997. We are his grown children from his 1st marriage. The only information we have is from the S.S. Death Index.
