Bertha Brackenwaen b/ Apr 12, 1840 in Rosenhagen Mecklenburg, Germany immigrated to Milwaukee, WI. in 1853. She was the daughter of Frank and Charolett Brackenwagen and had two known brothers Ernest Brackenwagen and Franz Brackenwagen. All came to Milwaukee. Ernest was in the 35th Infantry during the civil war and later moved to Logan County, AR. What happened to Franz? Where is Rosenhagen?
