Hi Lisa

William Lawton Glover the older did marry Mary Ann Pickering but she was not the wife who produced my forebear. This was - even more confusingly - yet another Annie by christening and never a Pickering but in fact a Booth (father born Baddely Edge). She later remarried but appears to have had no more children. She was living in Corporation Street, Stoke, at the time of her death, in a terrace with only a large old fashined kettle to heat hot water (about 1978) but this was Stoke on Trent! My mother was born in 1932 and passed away many years since.

Do we have a death date for Mary Ann (nee Pickering)?

Two possibilities appear to exist: 1925 and 1928.

The second marriage appears to have taken place in 1930.

So, it would appear that your great grandfather was my mother's (half brother) and therefore my (half uncle).

We are cousins.

Hello.
