They had 6 children:

Dora, m. Rev. W. H. Stevens
Belle, m. J. C. Stevens
Albert, unmarried
Julia, m. Irvin Glunt (found in 1910 PA census, Huntingdon Co.)
Mable, m. Foster Graham, 2nd William Reed

Carolyn: I have some information on Joseph Irvin Glunt who married two sisters. First he married Malissa Campbell and had 12 children. when Melissa died Joseph married her sister Julia and had two more children. I do not know anything about Julia's parents or any other siblings but you might contact Nellie T Lantz of Rockhill Furnace, Pa.

George Richard Glunt if his mother was Jessie, his parents were married, but got a divorce. His father's name is George Glunt (my step grandfather). He has a half sister from another of his father's marrages named Debbie. The father was not a pilot at all, but worked for NASA until he retired. His father is still alive and is 72.

George E. Klund, born May 21, 1876, married Anna Fath in 1897. They had 4 children, George Bernard, Helen Barbara, Mabel, and Oliver. George born May 15, 1898, died Mar. 23, 1978, never married. Helen born Nov. 14, 1900, died Mar. 23, 1978, married Charles Reuter and Edward Bellum, no children.
Mabel, born July 2, 1905, died Jan. 20, 1951, married Joseph James Franke. They had one son, Arthur Joseph, born Jan. 20, 1925, died Mar. 21, 2001. Oliver, born June 6, 1912, died Nov. 16, 2002, married Gertrude. They had 2 daughters.

My father, Philip Hageman was born in 1896, his father was Philip George Hagemann and his mother's maiden name was Maggie Klund -- she died in 1917. I don't know how this connects with your family. My parents always mentioned the Klunds, and I am familiar with Emil, I believe he owned the bakery on Gravois near Loughborough. I just remember hearing the name mentioned through the years. It may be too distant to track. Let me know.

My father whose mother was Maggie Klund Hagemann, often spoke of Emil Klund as a distant cousin. The Emil Klund I am referrring to owned a bakery on Gravois near the intersection of Gravois and Loughtborough. Is this the Emil you referred to?

Read your recent message. Any idea when the Margaret you mention was born. I am still looking for my grandmother known to me only as Maggie Klund. She died when my father was 21, so I never knew her. According to my Dad she died in 1917. Any info would really be appreciated.

I am looking for husband of Margaret (Beacom) Glunt (1830-1898) buried at Hankey Cemetery. There is also a William (1851-1851) s/o D. & M. buried there. Margaret is the oldest daughter of John and Catherine Beacom.

If George Glunt's mother's name was Jessie, then George is our cousin. I have pictures of his mother and even one of him as a toddler, in front of the trailer he and his mother lived in. We have considerable information about his mother's family; we know nothing about his father.

Russ, Lena's maiden name was Ploesser. She was a cousin of Uncle Emil (a family skelton comes out!).

Hi Russ! Grandma John had 12 siblings: Michael, George, Jacob C. Jr, Oscar, Emil, Adolph, Ida, Margaret, Louisa, Katherine, Christi Ana and Edna. Her father's name was Jacob C. Klund, b. abt 1851. Her mother's maiden name was Christi Ana (or Christiana) Ploesser, b. abt 1858 in Darmstadt, Hessen, Prussia.
Michael was b. abt 1874 in MO, George was b. abt 1875 in MO, Emil was b. 11 Sep 1890, Adolph b. 1 Nov 1897 d. 15 Mar 1968, Ida b. abt 1877, Christi Ana b. 1894 & d. 1986 in Council Bluffs, IA, Edna b. 30 Aug 1896 d. Jun 1982.

marjory,don't be fooled in your search if a john adam klund shows up in lancaster penn.
for some reason the spelling got off on this one generation of klundt,glunt,glant. he was the son of johann jacob klunt and all his childrens names are spelled glunt.

I am searching for my father's parents. He was apparently born on December 12, 1946 and given the birth name of George Glunt. He was adopted from the Pittsburgh Presbyterian Home for Children apparently. I have very little information to go by, but I am hoping that someone may know of his birth. I am just interested in any information that anyone may have. my grandmother's name was Elizabeth Louise Klund. She had 9 siblings: Lou Klund, George Klund, Emil Klund, Audi Klund, Grace Klund, Annie Klund, Edna Wiley (nee Klund), Oscar Klund, I have some more info if this is your family.
Grandma was born on Dec 25, 1891 and died on A pril 23, 1989. She married 3 times, the first time to my grandfather, Julius Joseph Frank. Her other spouses were Albert Schmand and John Richard Cosgrove.
If you are related, please email as my sister and I are putting a family tree together and would appreciate
any further info and contact with other family members.

When I seen the name Laura Belle it got my attention. Susan Glunt bn 1847 marr John Miller bn 1841 one of their daughters Laura Belle Miller bn 1876 marr John Fink was my grandmother. By any chance did members of your branch of the Glunt family move to Allegheny County, specifically Turtle Creek, Plum Township, and surrounding area? My grandmother was Rose Belle Glunt (b. Jan. 16, 1881). She married Thomas Vincent Boone. Her father was Simon Glunt (b. Mar. 12, 1857); her mother Jamie McMunn.
