My father, Philip Hageman was born in 1896, his father was Philip George Hagemann and his mother's maiden name was Maggie Klund -- she died in 1917. I don't know how this connects with your family. My parents always mentioned the Klunds, and I am familiar with Emil, I believe he owned the bakery on Gravois near Loughborough. I just remember hearing the name mentioned through the years. It may be too distant to track. Let me know.

I am just interested in any information that anyone may have. My father and I are not close and I am moving to Italy soon....I now live in New York City and have a son of my own who is 1 yr. old ...but I grew up in Butler, Pa....I have a grandmother who will never tell me the truth and is approaching 90 yrs old.... if you have any suggestions please email me at aaccolla@yahoo.com...thank you...
email correction my email address is rfrank615@home.com. As for the connection it would probably a sibling of my great-granfather Jacob Klund. Emil Klund lived in Affton and South St Louis area, so it is a possibilty. I hope this helps Emil Klund was married to a Lena, maiden name unknown. Emils Birthdate is 9/11/1890, Died about 8/1987

This particular John Glunt(and there are many) was from the Murraaysville,Monroeville area. He married Anna Catherine Hartman on Oct. 25, 1827 in Franklin Twp. in Westmoreland county, PA
As fate would have it, I don't have a lot of information on my distant uncle, however, I do know that Anna was born in 1793 and her parents were John Hartman and Juliana Spindler. If I should find more information I will let you know. My great(3) grandfather was from the same area. And as I do further research into my own lines, I'm sure something else will pop up.
I have done extensive research on my family. I received the information about Johannes from a distant relative in Washington. His name is Richard Glunt. Richard, Merle and Betty Glunt along with the late Elliot "Red" Glunt have all been researching for over 30 years, studying census records, cemeteries, land records and so on. I can assure you that my information is precise and accurate. Johannes was the brother of my Great-Great-Great grandfather Henry Herman Glunt (1813-1886).
