The four lines of the Geittmann family are:
Oestricher, Gustrower, Woltersdorfer, and Moitiner. The possible spellings are Geitman, Geittman, Geitmann, Geittmann, or Geithmann. I have some familie history on each of the four lines. My family is of the Gustrower line. Complete names if you have them and any info you have I can use to match to the family lines and hopefully point you in the right direction.

Yes! If would appreciate any information that you have on the Greitman. My Aunt had gone to Germany several year ago. And learned my G-Grandfather was born as Athanasius Greitman. His mother (Theresa Greitman) was listed unmarried and no father was listed on Birth Cert. So anything on the Greitman would be appreciated. I'm hitting a brick wall on this line.

Bernadette

If you are looking for information concerning the geittmann name I may be able to help. 4 different spellings and 4 family branches have some of the history back to 1610.

Colleen, I read your reply to would you like a copy? Irva Glyshaw (1902-1984) is my Grandmother who had married Martin Conniff( 1901-1967). My grandparents are buried in Rowland Height, Ca. I have a couple article on Harry Riddell. One if announces Harry and Vida 58th anniversary and Harry seeks election on the 14th District County Board in Port Huron. Which I received from my Grandmother. I heard from the great-vine John Glyshaw was not a true Glyshaw his Father was a Gleichauf and his Mother was a Geitman? So any information that you have it would be greatly appreciated.

Bernadette

The information about George Glyshaw and Mary Brown is incorrect. They had 3 children Percus, Irva and Vida. Percus died at a young age on the farm in Ruby. George died in 1930 and Mary died 1949. Vida married Harry Riddell which are my grand parents they had 5 kids and are still living in Michigan. If you have any other questions I'll be glad to ask my Dad.
