My father is James Gochnour and he's 60yo this past March. His Mother, Betty, and the unknown Mr. Gochnour (Dads father) split and he was never heard from again. That whole side of the family was lost, and Gramma remarried to Thomas Connors.

Know of anyone in the your family that might have been my Dads dad?

I lived in the west side of Cleveland during my younger years 1-18. There were 6 of us mom & dad and 4 living kids.Now I live in a small town outside of Warren oh.

My dad is a Gochnour from the Cleveland Ohio area...his father left his mother when my dad was a kid and he kept the name, but no one lese in the family did. i am an only child and it is me, Mom and Dad "Gochnour" as the only three I know. i hear there are a few from the Wooster area though.

MRS. MARGARET O. GOCHNOUR

Of 1908 6th Ave., died at 8.10 a.m. yesterday in Mercy Hospital. She was born at Loysburg on May 21, 1875, a daughter of Robert and Henrietta (Bennett) Mosser. She was twice married, first to Emory McClain and then to William Gochnour, both of whom preceded her in death as did two sons, Earl and Robert McClain. She was of the Presbyterian faith. Surviving are nine grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Krish Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today.

I have a cousin (by marriage) whose father was Robert Hale Gochnour, born 5 Jan 1922 (Lincoln, Neb) and died 2 Nov 1982 (Globe, Ariz). She knows absolutely nothing about her father or his lineage. Do you have anything that reflects his association with line?

I Live in Garrettsville, Ohio My dads brother was a Dr. in the Dallas area years ago. I have 2 cousins living there still I believe.

Hi Dawn The George Gochenauer your are
asking about was the brother to my husband's
gggrandfather Michael S Gochenauer. George
was born Feb.19 1827 and died May 4 1906.
Him and Anna are buried at Barren's Cemetery.
Would be willing to share info with you.
