I have just found this message board and have seen there are some 80 messages regarding the Godley family. Many of these may not be current.
I have an extensive family tree which includes that of my Grandmother Martha Godley c1871-1957 who was of the Whitwell Derbyshire family. Other members of the family went to Chesterfield and other parts of Derbyshire and also to other counties in England. One family went to America in the early 1900s and settled in Pittsburgh I believe.
