Hello,
I'm stumped about the name on a certificate that says surname "Goechen", and I can't seem to find any references to that spelling anywhere, so I'm wondering if it was really Goeden, or maybe Goede?? There seems to be a distant connection to a Goede in another link of the family but don't know if that's just coincidence or what to think. .
I also am interested in the original links to the Goedens from West Bend, Wisconsin. . my uncle said there was family in West Bend, but I'm not sure which family name, nor do I know any more details than that. . so anything shared about this line would be helpful. . the possible linking family surnames were either ZIPFEL, OR WIECHMANN OR STREESE.
Thanks for any info. Pam in California
