Hi my name is Laura Goeden and I have done a lot of research on my Goeden family tree. There were a lot of different spellings of Goeden in the early days, for example my great-grandpa was born as Michael Goeten when it should have been as Goeden. His parents only spoke German and kids spoke both languages of German and English. There is a church book in the library in WEst Bend that would list most of the any baptising done by any Goedens. My great-great grandparents has had either 18 or 19 children. 3 kids are mysterious - am still trying to find proof on them. One of them do have proof of birth but has vanished into thin air in her adult yrs. The other 2 kids died at a young age but no proof of their deaths/gravesites. Let me know what do you need to find that Goechen - it could be a bad spelling of the letter "d" as it became a "ch" instead.
