Plattsburgh — Ronald B. Goheens, 60, died Saturday, April 13, 2002, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.
He was born in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 23, 1942, the son of Bernard W. and Juanita E. (Kube) Goheens.
Ronald was employed for many years as a service technician at Sears in Plattsburgh. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, the former Marie M.K. Mihill, of Plattsburgh; a son and a daughter-in-law, Jamey and Amy Goheens of Morrisonville; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Tara and David Bubar of Schenectady, Tina Lysek of Lake Placid, Jeanie and John Hancock of Massachusetts and Theresa Goheens of Ausable Forks; his mother, Juanita Goheens of Virginia; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Ernest Sharpe of Virginia and Jackie and George Zimmerman of Chesapeake, Md.; 17 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
His father died before him.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 16, 2002, at the Bread of Life Baptist Church in Plattsburgh, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Wayne McNeill presiding. Musical selections were played by Kelly Hodgson. Pallbearers were Edward Millie, Edward Crumrine, Gary Hodgson, Gary Raykiewicz, Todd Hodgson and Fred Grant. Burial will be at the convenience of the family
Arrangements are with the O’Neill-Redden-Drown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.
