Philip Golas (name has changed in US) married Minerva Mershon. The Mershons go back back in Revolutionary history and hold a big reunion every year. You can check what I have I think on my tree. It should be public. I dont' have any more info on Philip Golaz, but found an article on the internet at one time. He was involved in politics in Switzerland.
