Surnames: Goldberg, Grayson
I'm looking for information on my great-grandparents, Hyman and Nellie Goldberg, who settled in the 1880s in Riverhead (Long Island), NY, from Berdichev, now in Ukraine.
They had four sons: Harry (b. 1890), Leo, Sam, and William (b. 1898), all of whom settled in Detroit. Harry, Leo, and William changed their name to Grayson in 1937.
Thanks. Finding the right Hyman Goldberg in NY is a long shot, but I thought I'd try.
