My 3 ggmother, Sophia Goldsmith b. 1818 married John Dungan abt 1841. While there is much information about the Dungan family, I can find almost nothing on the Goldsmith clan.

Sophia died 2 Jun 1889. Her father was William Goldsmith.

I have found that a Goldsmith family in Philadelphia in the early 1800's were "Planemakers". There were three brothers: William, Thomas and George. Don't know if this William and my William are the same.
