MY MOTHERS FAMILY ARE GOODENOUGHS THEY CAME FROM YORKSHIRE BUT ORIGANALY FROM AROUND LONDON.

JAMES (1) GOODENOUGH b. ? M ? and had a son, ALLEN GOODENOUGH b. ? .
On 20.01.1876 ALLEN GOODENOUGH (a fireman) married ANN MURDEN at the Church of St. Stephen the Martyr, Marylebone, Middlesex, UKK. Both persons were living at 26 New Street, Marylebone. ALLENs father JAMES (1) was a Sawyer. ANNs father WRIGHT was a Laborer.
They had four sons, RALPH born in 1880, HAROLD CHARLES W. born in 1882, JAMES (see below), AND GEORGE born in 1886
JAMES (2) GOODENOUGH was born on 21.06.1884 at 18 Barkston Street, Holbeck, Leeds, UKK. to ALLEN then a railway engine driver and ANN MURDEN. JAMES (2) married NELLIE HUDSON on 14.04.06 at Parish Church, Leeds. JAMES was living at Pleasant Place, Holbeck, Leeds, and NELLIE lived at Crosby Terrace, Holbeck, Leeds. They had two daughters, ALICE, born on 18.03.07 and FLORENCE (Paddy) on 05.03.09. At the time of Nannas birth JAMES was a policeman and they lived at 19 Darfield Street, Leeds. Nellie died on 22.07.36 in Birmingham Hospital. JAMES then remarried ????????????? (little Nanny) on ???????????? JAMES (2) died on 29.10.66 at 122 Cole Bank Road, Moseley, UKK.
JAMES (2) GOODENOUGHs war record and photo of his war medal is enclosed. He received the 1914 Star, and British War Victory Medals.
FLORENCE (Nanna) GOODENOUGH was living at 120 Farnham Road, Handsworth at the time of her marriage to HOWARD LESLIE RAINBOW on 27.02.32 at St James Church, Handsworth and her father JAMES (2) was a haulier.
