Classification: Query
Surnames: Goodfellow, Doyle
Charles Goodfellow was my g-g-grandfather. He was born around 1825, apparently in County Down in Ireland. He came to Dakota County, Nebraska, in 1857 with his wife, Sara (Doyle), and two children, Mary and James, both of whom were born in County Down. They landed in New York, but they may have gone to Marinette, Wisconsin before they came to Nebraska, since they apparently had relatives there, and some of the family returned there, according to family stories. We know precious little about this family, other than what Nebraska records tell us and other family genealogists know about the children of this pair. I would appreciate any information about Charles and Sara Goodfellow, especially their genealogy in Ireland. Thanks.
