I have recently joined FamilyTreeDNA and started the Goodgion DNA project for the purpose of linking other Goodgion Families together in order to prove our relationships to each other.
Plus, this is another way to add our collective information into one area and possibly link up with families on the other side of the pond (Atlantic Ocean).
The Goodgion DNA Project invites male descendants with the Goodgion surname or any variant spelling to join our efforts. To participate meaningfully, please share your direct male line ancestry back to the earliest known Goodgion (or variant) in the form of a pedigree chart (excluding living persons).
Women can also participate. Please, see the link below.
The group price for one 12 marker DNA test is $99. We already have two participants enrolled in the project.
