Hello,
I am seeking any information about my great grandfather James Elisha Goodin. He was probably from Joplin, Missouri and he married Mallie Covington in Archer County, Texas on 30 September 1894. His stepfather was supposed to have been a Texas Ranger and his pistol was a prized family heirloom. His daughter, Oma, was born 14 June 1916 in Eldorado, Oklahoma and he was living near Kilgore, Texas in the 1940's. I would appreciate any and all help.
