my ggg grandparents were Avery Gooding and Mary Trotter. Avery born in KY 30 mar 1825, mary born in IN or KY in 1832 (stronger lean toward KY). Avery and Mary lived in Pipe Creek Twp, Madison Co., IN in the 1850 Census, no kids as of then. I am looking for the 1860 census, which genealogy.com says they were in IN still. Their son, Eddie was born in IL in 1868/69, and they lived in Iroquois Co., (Middleport Twp) in 1880. Daughter Hattie May (my gg grandmother) was born there in 1872.

I have no proof that Avery is a son of David and Sarah McInnish (which my grandmother says was McElfresh, no proof). Does anyone have a will for David from Madison Co.? or a family bible page?
