I am seeking information about Herbert Frederick James Goodman who was born in New Zealand on 7.1.1893.
He was the son of Edward and Louisa Goodman and in his later life went by the name of Richard (or Dick).
He was appointed to the Fiji public service on July 13 1934 but Private 66503 Goodman joined the Royal Engineers, 2nd provincial command on his arrival in England on February 1, 1915. He was repatriated from England on August 8 1919 accompanied by his wife and child onthe ship Tainui. He arrived in Auckland New Zealand on October 7 1919.
I would like to know details about his wife Evelyn (such as when he married her, where she was from and when she died) but more particularly about any children of the marriage.
