John Goodwin was b. c1841 in Westminster England. We believe he came from England to the US on the Robena in 1855, but cannot find him thereafter. We think, based on an old posting on genforum, that he may have gone from there to Australia (tazmania) and to New Zealand (Materston) from there, possibly c1900. On the posting, Mary Pauline Purcell was mentioned as his wife. We cannot be sure if this is correct. Does anyone out there have information on him?
