I have a lot of information. William R. Goshen, was a brother to my great grandfather Charles Goshen. There were 15 kids I think. William R Goshen was born in 1871 in Clay County Indiana and died in 1928 in Fontanet, Vigo County Indiana. He was married to Nettie Wyatt or Ward? I have both last names. I know that William R, is buried with his parents in Calcutta Cem. Clay County, Indiana and I do not think his wife is buried with him. She may have outlived him by many years or maybe she remarried?
I have Thomas and Ernest, Thomas used to come back to Carbon, Clay County, Indiana and visit my great aunts every now and then.
I also have a record that Ernest was married to a Jane McClelland first and then to Goldie Adams. I have two kids, Barbara and Norma Jean, both born to Goldie.
I have a lot of further back information, William R, parents were William and Farbia (Mullis) Goshen, they came to Indiana from Kentucky just after the Civil War, he fought for a Union regiment from Knox County, Kentucky. Oh and to answer your question yes I have William's parents as James Goshen and Elizabeth Rasnake Goshen, and Farbias as William Mullis and Hila Johnson. I have the Rasnake line a lot further back, but none of the others. One part of the Rasnake's actually came to the U.S. as German Hession soldiers to fight for the British in the Revolution, he was captured and stayed in America.

My great grandparent are William R. Goshen born October 1840 in Virginia married Feriba Mullin born December 1847 in Kentucky his father is James T. Goshen married Elizabeth maiden name is unknown. Does anyone have any information? I would be glad to share what information I have gather already for children of William and Feriba and their grandchildren.

William Goshen is my grandfather's grandfather my grandfather is Ernst Alexander Goshen married Goldie Adams and his Brother is Thomas Ray Goshen married Thelam Elloit both born in Terre Haute, IN and they moved to Southern Illinois around Herrin & Carterville area. There father is the son of William Goshen his name is William R. Goshen Jr. born Jan 1871. Do you have any information on William Goshen and his parents? I would be glad to give you the information I have on them plus I recently was able to take trip down to Southern Illinois and took photos of their headstones.

My great grandmother was Sarah Jane Goshen who married JohnChidester in AK. They had a large family, all boys and one daughter (my grandmother) Effie Mae. It would thrill me to hear if we are in any way connected. I know a lot of the family names, and know they had a hog farm. Please get back to me if you think we could somehow help each other.

We share the same great grandmother. I last saw her when I was in high school in the seventies. She married Grandpa Chidester when she was very young My mother has pictures of them from when they were younger. They owned a hog farm and raised quite a family. My grandmother, Effie Mae, was their only daughter. I have a lot of family history and would love to connect with you. I think as I get older, it gets more important to me to know where my relatives have settled. Please, get in touch with me any time. I would also like to know more about you and yours as well.

I don't know how I missed your response(years ago). Anyway, was your family in the Knox County, Kentucky area. My William Goshen was married to Farbia and moved to Indiana. I am not sure if there is a connection or not.

Can anyone tell me where his wife Nancy B. Hoover who was born 1784 in Maryland and died 1860 in Putnam Springfield Ohio is buried?

My Grandmother was married to a William M. Goshen and
lived in Ky when she died. I have been searching for any
information I can find on her. When my Aunt died she left
two pictures of the Goshen family. If you are intrested in them I would be happy to send them to you.

My gggrandmother was Caroline Goshen who married William Henry Farley. They were in Hempstead Co., Ar. in 1850. She remarried William R. Taylor following death of her Farley husband...Is this your Goshen family? Would like to correspond with anyone related to Caroline. Alexander Goshen was in same area at this time, but do not know if he is related or not...Thank you very much...

My fathers name is Mark Goshen and he is one of eleven children. He was born to Aubrey Goshen and Doris Fleming and my grandfather was born in Pennsylvania.
