Josephine K. Gosney, 94,
of Clairton, died Tuesday, July 8, 2008, in Golden Living Center, Monroeville. Born June 8, 1914, in Clairton, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Katherine (Tepp) Hoff. She was a member of Olivet Presbyterian Church of West Elizabeth. Prior to retirement, she had been employed as a retail clerk by the former Kaufmann's department store.
In addition to her parents,
she was preceded in death by her husband, William Gosney;
and two daughters, Lynne Mae Dozzi
and Joanne Gosney.
She is survived by three grandsons, Arthur Evans, of Springfield, Mo.,
Eugene Dozzi, of Pymatuning,
and Dean (Noreen) Dozzi, of Murrysville; six great-grandchildren;
two great-great-grandchildren;
a sister, Mary Gosney, of Floreffe;
also nieces and nephews. Friends
will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. Thursday at the PAUL E. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME, 221 Second St., Elizabeth Borough, with the Rev. Walt Pietschmann officiating. Private burial in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills.
