My name is Owen and, I would like to trace my family history before my names sake James Goudie. If anyone has information about his family prior to his coming to Canada I would be very grateful. James Goudie was born in 1809 in Scotland , the Orkney islands I believe. He died in 1887 in or around Victoria B.C. Canada. Thank you
