Surnames: Gow, Brown, Thomson, Miller
Ok, so Iv'e traced my Ancestor William back to the 1841 census(at Whins of Fordie)which reveals an approx. birth date.........what is the next step to go back further remembering that birth details might not exist or not provide enough detail to investigate further? Any clues out there?
