Attempting to locate relatives of Robert Grab. His middle name is one of three at birth (Irwin, George, Leo). Leo was the corrected name on the birth certificate of record. Robert's date of birth is May 17, 1931. The baptism certificate states that the God-parents were Irwin and Armella Grab. Robert's parents name were Arnold Grab born in 1906 and Lucy (madien name uncertain)Grab born in 1910. On Robert's birth certificate it is noted that Arnold's occuption was woodworker and Lucy's was housewife. I know that Arnold's brother's name is Joseph Grab. Robert was not raised by his family but a family friend named Wagener from approximately 1942 the onset of WWII when apprently his father Arnold was called to service. Arnold was born in Dubuque Iowa and Lucy was born Monona Iowa. Robert stayed in Dubuque until he enlisted in the Army 1949. Upon release after the Korean war he went to college and then in 1959 went to California. Thats when he met my mom and got married.
