I am researching my Grandfathers father, who was called Franz Edwin Grahn. He was born in Finland and died in New York. He was married to Ida Maria Isakson, also from Finland, and they had 8 children together. I believe they may have lived in Brando, Finland. They spoke Swedish at home and had a Swedish ancestry but were from Finland. Brando Finland seems to have had a 90% Swedish population. I'm wondering if anyone has any information about this area or if you recognize the name Franz Edwin Grahn. I don't know anything about his parents or siblings. He was born in 1898 and died in 1957.
