Hello. I believe that all people with the surname Granda are related (I think we all descended from a common ancestor in Asturias, Spain); however, it seems that none of us Granda descendants has much information regarding our ancestors. This is why I think it would be great for direct descendants to take the DNA test offered by ancestry.com! I had my dad, Manuel Granda, take the DNA test. I'm currently waiting for the results. I should probably receive them soon and I believe the results will be accessible on ancestry.com. I also have some information regarding my Granda ancestors for those who are interested. I will post the information shortly.

I am searching on a behalf of a friend for his sister Karen Bonnie Granda. She should be born around 1950-55. Her fathers name was Fred John Hansen(Freddy Hansen)he was a Danish citizen. Read your message. Though I don't know any Nuñez from Cuba per se, I do remember an Ernesto Nuñez who was a cuban. I was living in the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico then (during the 1980's mostly). This man was a religious minister and I do remember he was from Cuba. Other facts I remember is that he had a daughter and they lived in Hormigueros, Puerto Rico. Hope this data can help.
