There was a General Grandberry in my family also, but was no where close to the 1600's. He was born in 1901, son of Gabriel Grandberry. They took the name of Grandberry following enslavement on the Sherrod plantation.

i am looking for information on my great grandmother. jenie was born abt 1846 in MS, do not know of any other children do know she had my great grandmother in the 1880's. malinda had two children, one being my grandfather robert smith born 1906 brookhaven, MS and pauline turner born 1904 in brookhaven also. trying to find father of robert and pauline. census show both jenie and malinda were widowed but can not find surnames for both women or husbands names. any information will be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance

Letha; I don't believe we are related. I haven't heard any family member mention Collierville. I am looking for people who might be kin to Sallie and Israel Walker. They had a daughter named Mary Lucy Walker who had a son with Daniel Grandberry. Their son's name is Israel Grandberry which he later changed to Isaac. He is my grandfather(mother's side) who was born in 1931 in Stanton, TN as were all the people I've mentioned I think. Isaac now lives in Los Angeles where he moved in 1963 after living in Decatur, IL since 1954. His grandmother on his father's side was named Lucy Grandberry. Isaac(Israel) has children named Mary, Isaac Jr, William "Sonny", Karen, and Calvin Grandberry. I would like to know if anyone can give me more information about my family's lineage and/or anyone else they may have been related to.

I don't know too much about my family tree, but I do know that my grandfather's name is Frank and his mother's name is Toni. I only know people from my grandmother's side and their last name is Knight.

My Great Grandfather was Jimberry Grandberry, b. Jan. 11, 1869, d. May 27, 1951. He was married to Helen (Copper) (Hollan) Grandberry b. Oct. 11, 1859 in Chickasaw County, Mississippi, d. Dec. 8, 1932 Cuero, TX.. They had 8 children, one of which was (my Grandmother) Leafy Pearl (Grandberry) West. Grandmothers sisters and brothers were- Talton, John, Claudia, Lillie, Mamie, Truett and Dewey..
Would love to dicover any link to a realitive..

It's possible we are connected as the Coopers are my relatives. My Cousin, Norman Lee Cooper wrote a book named, "A CONFEDERATE SOLIDER AND HIS DESCENDANTS", a history of Sylvester Cooper, describing his twenty months at war under General Robert E. Lee.

Does anyone know Harvey Grandberry? His name was Hargus Grandberry before he changed it to that name. He was married to Beola Webb. His father was Hargus Grandberry also. They lived in Neelyville Missouri in the early 1900's. Harvey was born around 1912 if I'm not mistaken. One of Harvey's children is my mother, Thelma Grandberry. If anyone has any info on any relatives of my great grandfather, Hargus Grandberry and his wife, or Harvey and his wife Beola, please feel free to email me or post a message. I am part of the group of Grandberrys that migrated from Texas to California. My grandmother, Ethel Mae Morgan, married Master Sergent Billy Grandberry Sr. in Beaumont, TX.
They had four sons, Billy Jr., Hubert, Lambert and Ronald. Ethel relocated with her four sons to Los Angeles. The eldest son bore children Anthony Adams, Joel, Billy III, Gabriel, and Sedonia. Hubert bore Toni Grandberry, Adam and Micheal Morgan Starr. Lambert bore Lambert tyrone Jr., and Trent Grandberry. Ronald borne Shaunetta, Kimberly and Ronald Grandberry Jr. Adam Grandberry bore Crystal Morgean Grandberry, and Trent Grandberry bore Omari Ismael Grandberry, Ukil, Tymon, Amira. There are more Grandberry Children, but there names are not available to me right now

The granberry line stopped for us in the mid 1800's. I have a lot of info on the granberry line to that point but not much after that. Can you forward your line as you know it. My line is all from the Louisville, Wrens, Augusta GA area.

Hello, this message is for Roy Burrow. I am a Granberry from Collierville, TN. My ancestors were and are still from Fayette County, TN. I know that some of our names have been spelled in different ways, but there are some Grandberry(s) and Granberry(s) who are related. My greatgrandfather was named Charlie Granberry and his father was named Willie Rhoden Granberry (all of Fayette County). My great-greatgrandfather's first wife was named Alice Corns. I am trying to get info on a Henry Granberry of Tipton County, because Willie Rhoden and Alice had a son named Henry. I have not been able to find any connections to his first three children. Willie Rhoden was married a 2nd time which was to my great-greatgrandmother Millie Anderson and I have been able to make connections with all their children and grandchildren.
