Looking for a photo of Capt. Jedidiah W. Granger in uniform. Understand that one once existed.

Jedediah [Jedidiah] Wilder Granger (born on 25 October 1818, at Sodus, New York - died in 1906, at Tiffany, Wisconsin), a farmer, Civil War veteran (Brevet Captain, A Company, 27th Iowa Volunteer Infantry Regiment), and later civil engineer. Jedediah married Mary Baker (born in 1820, - died on 10 June 1882, at Tiffany, Wisconsin). Jedediah was the son of Lyman Granger (born on 20 August 1792, at Phelps, New York - died on 22 January 1861, at Columbus, Michigan). Lyman Granger was the second white child born west of Cayuga Lake in western New York. He served as a private in the New York militia during the War of 1812. In 1835, he settled in Michigan, where he served in the state senate during 1841 and 1842 before becoming sheriff of St. Clair County in 1844. Lyman married Achsah Wells (born on 17 March 1797, at Cambridge, Massachusetts - died on 14 December 1879, at Columbus, Michigan). Lyman was the son of Pierce Granger a Methodist minister (born on 13 August 1769, at Turkey Hill near Simsbury [now East Granby], Connecticut - died on 6 October 1845) and his first wife. He married twice. First to Clarissa Trumbull and after her death to her widowed sister Delana (née Trumbull) Swift. Pierce was the son of Elisha Granger a farmer (born on 3 July 1743, at Turkey Hill near Simsbury, Connecticut - died on 12 April 1821, at Phelps, New York.) Elisha married Sarah Pierce (died on 15 February 1775). Elisha was the son of John Granger (born on 30 May 1691, at Suffield, Connecticut - died on 6 September 1782, at Simsbury, Connecticut), a farmer and his wife, Dinah Holcomb (born in 1708, - died on 27 December 1788). John Granger was the son of George Granger (born on 23 November 1658, in Newbury, Massachusetts - died at some unknown date at Turkey Hill near Simsbury, Connecticut) and his wife, Lydia Younglove (died at Newbury, Massachusetts). George and his children were eventually forced to leave Newbury, Massachusetts, because of his abandonment and death of his wife, Lydia. George Granger was the third son of Launcelot Granger (born circa 1620, at Shellington in Bedfordshire, in England - died on 3 September 1689, at Suffield, Connecticut), who voyaged to America as early as 1632. He initially resided in Ipswich and later Newbury, Massachusetts. Launcelot's wife was Joanna Adams (born in 1634, in England - died after 1701, at Suffield, Connecticut).
