I am looking for information on the family
and ancestors of James A. Graves who was
born in KY about 1808. Constructing from
census records it seems that he married Mary
(b. Abt 1813 in KY) in KY in the
late 1820's they may have had as many as 17
or more children. Both of their fathers were
born in MD. They appear to have moved to IL
from KY between 1828 and 1830 (on Morgan
County IL census 1830 1840) and from IL to
TX between 1841 and 1844 (1850 census
Burleson County, TX, 1860 census Bell County
Texas, 1870 1880 Census Robertson County,
TX) Some of the children's names are
George (1828) Robert Newton(1840),
Charles (1843) Isaac (1849) Bettie (1858).

Does this ring a bell with anyone?
