I very happily just went back one more generation of my Greaves line..to John Greaves who married Dorothy Room in Repton, Derby in 1772. John and Dorothy had a number of children including, Edward (bap 1773), John - my line (bap 1774), Mary (bap 1776), William (bap 1782), Sarah (bap 1784), Thomas (bap 1786), Joseph (bap 1787. John's parents may have been a Thomas Greaves who married married Hannah Cooper in Swarkeston, Derby on 6 December 1741. None of this family is on the IGI. Does this look familiar to anyone?
