Mark A. Greco, 61, of Oakmont, passed away Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009, in the VA Hospital in Oakland, after a long illness. Beloved father of Christina Hesch, of Shadyside; brother of Joanne (David) Brownlee, of Oakmont; preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Ida Greco. Mr. Greco was a veteran of the Vietnam War, 1967 to 1968, 1st Marine Division. He was a member of the Pittsburgh Pirate Marine Platoon and worked in sales for the Post Gazette and also as an optician for Bill McClements Optical, in Shadyside. A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday at the ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SVC., INC., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Oakmont Carnegie Library.
