Greenwells - emigrated to Wilmington, Delaware.
My Great Great Grandmother Hannah Greenwell (born 08/12/1857, maiden name Lea) emigrated to the United states in 1912 along with her sons and daughters leaving my Great Grandfather Joseph Greenwell behind here in Walsall, Staffordshire, England.
Hannah emigrated on 23/10/1912 long with .Her eldest Daughter Lilian (Lily) Greenwell (born abt 1883), her daughter Beatrice Greenwell (born abt 1886) and her son Harry Greenwell (born 16/07/1888)
On 20/09/1911 Flora Greenwell (born abt 1884) emigrated with her husband Ernest Mason. Sidney Greenwell (born 31/08/1893) emigrated on 25/10/1911. The final son was Samuel Greenwell (born 21/12/1880) who was actually the first of the group to emigrate on 18/05/1910.
I know that some of Hannah's brothers and sisters-in-law emigrated to Wilmington in the 1880's also.
If anybody has any information on the descendents of any of the mentioned Greenwells I would love to hear from you.
Many thanks,
Richard
