I am looking for info on George Christian Greenwood b: 1884/1886 in Wisconsin. According to census records he was born in Wisconsin, his father was french-canadian and his mother was born in wisconsin. I have found George Christian and his wife Julia M. Hein 1910 Knight Twnship, Iron Co, Wisconsin (children at the time: Lawrence and Warren Leroy). Found them again in 1920 Ironwood, Gogebic Co, Mich (children Lawrence, Warren, Howard J, Mildred, John Evan). By 1930 they had moved to Chicago Ill.
I have found census records on Julia M. Hein, I believe her father/mother to be John Hein b: 1860 Wisc (both his parents born in Germany) her mother Margarite b: 1862 also born in Wisc (both her parents born in Germany).
Would like to find more info on Hein's family. Also would like to break through the brick wall on George Christian as to who his parents were. Any help would be much appreciated! George and Julia Greenwood are my son's great-great grandparents on his father's paternal side.
