The Ardmoreite of the 17th inst. says: Early this morning a Choctaw Indian by the name of Amos Greenwood, of Russet Oklahoma was found near the Rock Island depot, with his head crushed and in a dying condition. No evidence of foul play was visible and it is the theory of Judge Mason, who was called that he had been drinking and seated himself near the track and was hit by a car in the course of switching. The Indian was dead when Judge Mason arrived and he ordered the body taken to the undertaking establishment of Brown & Bridgman, where it was prepared for burial and will be shipped to Russett today.
