I am looking for descendents of William Greenwood who settled in northern Missouri right after the Civil War. He became a farmer in that area. He was born in 1820 in the Ohio area. He came to Missouri and lived for a while with his family in the Missouri county next to Lawrence, Kansas. His children became orphans during the Civil War. Apparently, he remarried, moved north, and never came for his children. His wife died in 1864. A family mystery. Can anyone help?
