I'm searching for my g g g grandparents possibly a Faucette Greenwood most likely from VA. and could have married a George William Buntin or William Buntin b. ca 1790 Halifax CO. VA, d. ca 1830 Person County NC. The family moved to Person CO NC in 1827. George or William died five years later and the mother died 10 years later leaving 7 orphans who were sent to live with family members. One of those was my gg grandfather William Henderson Buntin, b. 1817 Halifax CO. d. 1901 Hopkins CO. KY. In his journal Wm Henderson writes all of the above except for the names of his parents. He lists brothers James, Jim, and sister Nancy Greenwood Buntin as some of his siblings. George (William) is thought to be a great possiblility for his father and Faucette Greenwood a guess since the daughters name was Nancy Greenwood.
