Paschal (also shown as Pascal) Greer, son of Jesse, had a son shown as "Claudia" in the 1880 census. I believe that "Claudia" is actually Claude W. Greer, born abt 1873 in Kentucky (according to 1930 census in CA). He married Minnie Tatum in Texas, and they had several children.

I have been searching for my great-grandfather's lineage and have hit the same dead-end that many others have. My Claude had a son that he also named Paschal - with that extra "h". I cannot locate any birth or burial records for Claude W Greer. He died in Santa Clara County CA, but I have no confirmation of date.

If you have any information on Jesse & Cassandra's son Claudia/Claude, that might help me confirm my theory, that would be wonderful.
