Surnames: Gregoire, Gregor
Family myth has it that relatively far back in my family tree (I'm thinking 1800's) there were two brothers with the surname of Gregiore in or around Quebec, Canada. (They may or may not have orignally immigrated to Canada from Sweden.) One brother changed his last name to Gregor and moved to the United States, possibly Northern Illinois. The other kept his last name and stayed in Canada to raise his family. If anyone has any information regarding this, please let me know.
