John Grenfell
My great-great grandfather was John Grenfell he was born abt 1840 in Cornwall. He moved to Islay in Scotland where he worked as a lead miner. On his marriage certificate (1864) his parents are listed as John Grenfell (deceased) and Elizabeth Vail (deceased), I am not sure of the spelling of Vail. I got this info from records in Scotland but now I need to look in Cornwall I am stuck.
