Grenville/Winthrop connection

There are a number of Winthrops with the name Grenville, starting with a Grenville Temple Winthrop who received a Harvard degree in 1827. Did a Winthrop marry a Grenville in the late 1700's or early 1800's?
Gay

George Grenville/Granville

My Benjamin Granville was born in England ca. 1787. He had a son born 1815 in England named George Granville. By 1834 he had come from MICHIGAN to receive a land claim in Austin's colony of Texas at Bellville, Texas where he resided the rest of his life. I believe he must have had Granville relatives in Michigan as I find a fair number there and scare other places. It seems that Granville/Grenville is a scarce line in the US and that most of the Grenville line were knighted landholders in Britain. If anyone knows anything about a Benjamin Granville or his son George Granville or anything about the Michigan Granvilles I would appreciate an email. Thanks.
Betty Meischen
