I have seen several sources that claim that John Gresham and his son, who came to Maryland from England in the 17th C, descend from an English John Gresham who was a brother of the famous Sir Thomas Gresham, founder of the Royal Exchange of Elizabethan England. But I can't find any support for this in the "Genealogy of the Family of Gresham" by G. L. Gower, which contains extensive Genealogical information on the noble English Greshams. Can anyone help me here?
