1. Richard b abt 1800 in King & Queen Co marr Betsy Eubank. Need their parents & siblings. Their son Albert or Alfred b abt 1829 marr Julia Catherine Tune 19 Nov 1858 in Essex Co. She was the dau of John Tune & Elizabeth Catherine Davis. Alfred & Julia's son William Alfred was b in Sep of 1859 in Essex. Need info on William.
2. Eveline b abt 1830 in King & Queen Co marr John Jepe. Need parents & siblings for them. Have 3 children for them.
3. Laudma b abt 1840 in King & Queen marr John Jessie. Need their parents & siblings. Their son Logan b abt 1863 marr Dora Taylor 8 Jul 1886 in Essex Co. She was the dau of James H. Taylor Sr. & Mary ( Polly ) Houston. Need children for Dora & Logan.

Frances married ca 1815 to John Walker Street of Essex and Middlesex Counties. Roberta married John's brother, Henry Street of Essex Co., Va. ca 1829.

Children of Frances Gresham and John Street are Elizabeth, Jane, Marion and Napolean B. Street.

I am interested in Elma Pauline Gresham or any info on this family. I know they lived in West Point, Clay County, Mississippi. I can not find anything before the 1920 Federal Census. Samuel Gresham, the son of George & Sarah Gresham of K & Q Co., Va was born 25 April 1743 according to their Bible record posted in Wm & Mary Quarterly. So it wouldn't be that Samuel. However several of George & Sarah's sons did migrate to Ky before 1800. Your Samuel could be one or their sons.
Archibald and Davis Gresham are said to be the sons of Edward Gresham b. in Va and died probably in Orange Co, N.C. Sons Archibald and Davis moved on to Green Co., Ga and both died there.

It was a John H. Batts that married Elizabeth and Nancy Gresham. John H.'s first wife was to a lady named Lucy G? from Ireland before 1833. Joseph Warren was John H. Batts and Nancy's child from my info. There it picks up to being the same as yours. Showing Joseph Warren married Mary Ellen McCatherine. Im thinking maybe John H.'s fathers name is John Warren Batts. Whatcha think? We've been talking a tad bit but what do you think about that theory?

Searching Ewert tree:
I am searching this tree and found Brooks Gresham b 1912 who married on May 4, 1933 in Mitchell, Davison County, of South Dakota. The marriage license states Scenic, Pennington County, SD as place of residence.
I would like to find his parents, birth and death date, and especially his born given name. I am quite sure he has went by " Brooks" all his life.
Any help appreciated and if I am proved wrong, Shame On Me.

Hello, My mother told me of being raised by James & Jo Jo Tyson in Warrior Alabama, and my father was from Monroe Louisiana. I know they both ( Ernest Cliffton Gresham and Judy K. Gresham) lived in Mobile Alabama before they moved to California in the 1060's. I am in the military stationed at Fort Stewart and was curious of finding my family tree. Ada A. BENTLEY is my M-N-L's Grandparent. b. 6 Oct 1857,GA Ada Married William "Billy" Lonnie FURGERSON. William's Dad was Ransom Brown FURGERSON. Don't know mom's name. Ada and Billy were married in Kentucky Township, White, AR. (Still looking for proof).
She d.7 July 1897. All the info I have matches yours. I did not know any parents or siblings. Thanks for the update.
My M-N-L Lucille Inez Furgerson is 85 yrs and grew up in an orphanage after Pinkee died. Wiley told the orphange he "didn't know how to raise a girl". Iam starting Lucille her family tree for Christmas gift. She knows very little about her family. We think she is the only living sibling. She met only one of the boys. Lucille is in good health and lives here in NM with her husband and we live just a few blocks from her.

Do you have the 1850 census record for John H. Batts? I can find him in 1840 and 1860 in Limestone Co., AL, but not in 1850. Is that where your information about his wife, Lucy G., came from? They were my ggg-grandparents.

Ada/Adia Bentley may be the daughter of William W. Bentley and Sarah White of Tallapoosa Co., AL. William And Sarah had a daughter, Ada, born about 1857/8 in Troup Co., GA.

If Adia Gresham is Ada Bentley, then her Aunt, Eliza Bentley, lived in neighboring Cleburne Co., AR and will be related to the Ghents, Pickens (2 families), Saxtons, and Morelands of White Co. and Cleburne Co., AR

Does anybody know of a E L Gresham who married a Harriett Francis (Franny) Jones abt 1870 in either
Missouri/Arkansas/Texas?
She was born abt 1850 in Ark. Daughter of James W. Jones/Elizabeth Meador.
They were suppose to have lived in all three states at one time or another after they were married.

Can anyone tell me the circumstances leading to Sanders & Eunice Rasberry adopting the son of Edward 'Ned' & Mary (Holder) Gresham and changing his name to Jimmie Dale Rasberry? Do you know anything about Ned & Mary's other son, Edward? I haven't been able to find anything on him, other than the name.

DoD Identifies Navy Casualties

The Department of Defense announced today the death of two sailors who were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. They died Oct. 22 in Bahrain during a non-combat related incident. Both sailors held the Master-at-Arms rating and were assigned to U.S. Naval Support Activity Bahrain.

Killed were:
