A 19 year old Springdale woman was killed and six other Springdale residents injured Sunday afternoon when the car in which they were riding ran off the road and overturned on Highway 68 East about one half mile east of the White River Bridge in Washington County. State Police identified the dead woman as Lovella Lee Grigg, driver of the car. Miss Grigg was born on February 12, 1957 in Huntsville, the daughter of Dell and Vella (Miller) Grigg. Survivors include her parents of Huntsville; seven brothers, Troy Grigg and James Grigg, both of Rogers, Roy Griggs and Wesley Grigg, both of Lowell, Larry Griggs and Willard Grigg, both of Hindsville, and Clayton Grigg of Marble; and two sisters, Pauline Head of Springdale and Linda Haynes of Marble. Funeral services were held yesterday at Lower Campground Church with Rev. Roy Cain and Rev. Harold DuVall officiating. Interment was in Lower Campground Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville.
